Endings

In a few short days our daughter will be 21, the age where childhood ends and adulthood begins. Some people may think it's actually 13, but trust me your parents don't see it until you are at least 21, some never see it. It's hard to let them grow up and to move away, to spread their wings and start to live their lives. We never want to let go but we have to let them learn what it is to be an adult. Now comes the days and nights of even more endless worrying for us the left behind, now comes the days and nights where we wonder if they are okay, if they are being treated right, heck we even worry if they are getting enough sleep and enough food. So just because you leave us your parents alone, doesn't mean we will ever stop being the same people who worried about the same things when you were little. So in your hurry to live a full and meaningful life just remember to every once in a while give us a nod or a wink to let us know you are doing Ok.
